Growing Hair from Hair Loss

Some people are very concerned with hair loss and some people just don’t care. If you check out my website you will know that I’m a guy who is fairly bald. I’m the type of person who really is not that concerned with being bald.  I actually take pleasure in the fact of being bald, except for the hot summer I have to be careful of continuously wearing a hat so my scalp doesn’t turn into a red balloon.

Hair has two different parts the follicle beneath the skin and the fuzzy part that everyone can see. There is many reasons that hair loss happens  One example is that it’s genetics for instance my grandfather was a bald guy.He wa also very good with woman, successful and wealthy to so I get the whole package.

Another reason someone can have thin hair is because of hormones which is why many products that claim to help with hair loss like Rogaine focus on hormones.  What Rogain does is block hormones which results in helping grow hair.

Another product is Propecia that focuses on hormones to help with thinning hair and it is taken orally. It’s important to understand that hormones in woman are different than guys. So it’s not a good idea to mix products that are designed for a certain gender.

The next common reason someone can lose there hair is from the result of not taking enough of the important vitamins. Vitamin B is a very important vitamin that can help with balding, and really many of them are important as well.

Lastly baldness can happen because of someone not taking care of their noggin. To give you a example, it has been documented that products that pull hair extremely tight that some woman use contribute to damage follicles, as well as maybe using unsafe dyes and bleaches.

The thing that is very critical to the problem of baldness is a molecule called the progenitor cell. What this fragment job is to swap places with other molecules that pass away normally. They are a little like stem cells meaning they can change into a different cell. The big difference between these two cells is that stem cells can reproduce for eternity while progenitor cells can only reproduce a limited number of times.

For a very long time scientist used to think that bald people did not have the progenitor cells where they were bald.  Just recently they figured out that bald people still do have that cell it just doesn’t properly.

The thing that is very cool about these facts is that the science community may be able to bring back to life progenitor cells by using technology and get them working again. If they could figure that out they can end baldness forever.

It sort of brings back memories of a movie that you might have seen with Julia Roberts called “Duplicity.” Just fantasize no more thinning of hair, and I don’t have to be concerned with the scalp transforming into a red lollipop if I forget to wear a hat on a sunny day.
